I saw this coming!
Today, singer/songwriter/producer/activist Wyclef Jean announced that he will be running for the Presidential office of his homeland, Haiti. Now that he has announced his candidacy, he has to not only get supporters to vote for him, he also has to prove to election officials that he meets the qualifications to be president, including five consecutive years of residency in the country. Lets see how this all plays out.
He is currently an ambassador for Haiti. . . already has a strong following. . . he is still a Haitian citizen. . . but is he capable of running an entire nation?
